Very nice corner room on the first floor. Very friendly staff. Luggage storage in a partner hotel at Wengen station.
Breakfast was not very appealing. Many dishes were lukewarm, quality overall not Swiss standard.

the hotel was lovely old and gorgeous and placed in an art nouveau-style building. we appreciated bread, pastries, eggs, and bacon at breakfast. it was in a central location, in a quiet yet close to the centre area. what's more, it was close enough to the park, the swiss alps, and the cog driven railway from lauterbrunnen.

Breakfast was not very good. Fruit salad: most of the tin is not healthy bread, obviously no value was given to wholesome healthy food. But the staff was very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is great.

A proper breakfast and buffet dinner, extremely clean hotel. In the office there is a sign "the guest is king" - a claim that is lived!
The hotel is a little "out of date"

The quiet location, away from the main street in Wengen. The lovely grand decor. The very hospitable staff. Wonderful views from balcony. Comfort and decor of room, with 2 sinks!
The pack lunch was not at all up to standard - merely a single sandwich, a drink and a piece of chocolate...they forgot the fruit and for a cost of CHF12.50......left a rather sour taste in the mouth after having excellent buffet dinner the night before for a cost of chf25.

The buffet evening meals featured plentiful home-cooked food that was excellent value.
Unfortunately, the spa isn't open yet, which limited relaxation options.

The location and appearance of the house. The age of this hotel fits to the region and the rooms with a view of the Jungfrau are wonderful. We had a room with a view in the green, was also OK, but the daughters could enjoy the view.
A stove was in the room, unfortunately no tea bags or coffee (Neskaffee). You don't need a Nespresso machine, but if you can boil water you should find at least 2 tea bags in your room.

Cozy vibes and amazing views!
Loved the chill atmosphere with super cozy decor and amazing views of the mountains. The staff were like old friends, always ready to help. I tried packed lunches, a fun surprise for my hikes. Just wish the dining area had more seating options, especially during busy times.

The hotel is so new yet still doesn't have a spa open, unacceptable. I noticed how they didn't offer me an upgrade despite my obvious expectations. I was baffled by the lack of respect for my needs. I was almost going to give a good review, but here we are. Unreal!

The view from my room was breathtaking. Both breakfasts and dinners were buffet style and the food was very good and filling. My room was very clean and the bathroom was not the typical tiny afterthought. My only complaint would be that as I had the top floor, the roof was immediately overhead and my ceiling was at a slant. This provided awkward positioning for the shower curtain as I attempted to shower without including those on the floor below me. Notwithstanding, I would put up with this anytime for the opportunity to return!
